چکیده
MULTILOCULAR CYSTIC RENAL CLEAR CELL CARCINOMA CASE REPORT (Abstract): MCR CCC is a rare subtype of renal clear cell carcinoma with specific morphologic and immunohistochemical features. No progression of multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma is known. We present the case of a 56-year-old male, with an accidentally discovered renal tumor due to its unusual gross appearance and a rare clinical entity. He subsequently underwent a radical right nephrectomy and further histological examination revealed the tumor to be a multilocular cystic renal clear cell carcinoma, Fuhrman grade 2.

Concurrent Multilocular Cystic Renal Cell Carcinoma and Leiomyoma in the Same Kidney: Previously Unreported Association
We present an unusual case of concurrent occurrence of a multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma and a leiomyoma in the same kidney of a patient with no evident clinical symptoms. A 38-year-old man was found incidentally to have a cystic right renal mass on computed tomography. Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy was performed under a preoperative diagnosis of cystic renal cell carcinoma. Histolo...

Most pretransplant malignancies require a tumor-free waiting period before transplantation. End-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients have an increased risk of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), which is mostly detected from routine screening during pre-kidney transplant evaluation. RCC must be quiescent prior to kidney transplantation. However, the tumor-free waiting period for RCC varies depending on ...
متن کاملCystic renal tumors: new entities and novel concepts.
Cystic renal neoplasms and renal epithelial stromal tumors are diagnostically challenging and represent some novel tumor entities. In this article, clinical and pathologic features of established and novel entities are discussed. Predominantly cystic renal tumors include cystic nephroma/mixed epithelial and stromal tumor, synovial sarcoma, and multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma. These ent...
متن کاملMultilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma: a rare, unique entity and diagnostic challenge.
Multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma (MCRCC) is a rare tumor with an excellent prognosis. We report a case of MCRCC in a 33-year-old male who presented with vague discomfort in the right flank for the last 1.5 years. Computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a multiseptate cystic mass in the upper pole of the right kidney. Surgically resected well-circumscribed cystic mass was formed entirely ...
متن کاملMultilocular Cystic Renal Cell Carcinoma or Cystic Nephroma?
The incidence of Multilocular cystic renal cell carcinoma (MCRCC) in literature is very low and confounding MCRCC with cystic nephroma (CN) is even more unusual. The aim of this report is to present a case of MCRCC and emphasize the importance of the preoperative radiologic evaluation and immunohistochemical staining confirmation to obtain an accurate diagnosis. A 73-year-old woman presented wi...
